Day Ticket Lakes
Poplar, Willow and Sycamore are our three pleasure lakes, specifically designed for day ticket anglers. They are open 6 days a week, all year round!
Tickets are sold on the bank by our bailiffs, so when you arrive, collect your nets and mats from the entrance, pick your peg, and begin fishing.
We now have a loyalty card scheme for our day ticket lakes. Every angler that comes fishing will be asked if they would like a loyalty card. These get stamped once every time you fish, and after collecting 7 stamps you can trade it in for a free day fishing. (One rod only).
Poplar
Poplar lake was converted at the beginning of 2023 from a general coarse fishing lake, to our Carp/Specimen lake. Carp stocks currently go up to 16lb and primarily consist of Common, Mirror and Ghost Carp. Lake renovation works were carried out in February 2023 to remove undercuts creating more stable banks and 7 brand new pegs installed. Fringed with reeds and yellow flag iris, it is a picturesque place to spend an evening trying to catch one of the big fish before you go home.

Willow
Willow Lake is our main pleasure fishing lake on the complex and is an excellent summer fishery. Stocked with a variety of general coarse fish of all sizes, you never know what you are going to catch. With four islands and two peninsula’s there’s lots of nooks and crannies that our fish like to thrive in… It’s your job to figure out where they might be!
Catches of 50lb to 100lb are regularly made, with the best recorded weight being 186lb on pole from peg 4 with double caster.

Sycamore
Sycamore lake is our newly re-stocked “bite a chuck” lake, home to thousands of silver fish and small carp. In February 2023 renovation works were carried out which included grading the banks to remove any undercuts and constructing 12 new pegs with ample of space. This lake is suitable for those of all abilities, who are after a busy day catching.
With plans to hold children and family fishing events, as well as small club and silver matches, we feel this is the perfect all-round lake for any angler. The majority of stock is up to 4lb in weight, but be sure keep those eyes peeled, as there are some big boys to surprise you!
